Second Pregnancy :: Week 18

How far along?
18 weeks
How big is baby?
A Sweet Potato
Your fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to you), passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. And, baby's finally big enough that you'll be able to feel those movements soon.
Weight this week:
181.2
Total weight gain:
12.8
Maternity clothes:
My friend Delia loaned me a couple of cute dresses that I’m hoping make my bump look cute!
Stretch marks:
Nothing new.
Belly button:
Mostly still innie and itchy!
Sleep:
Not great. This little girl is dancing on my bladder a lot.
Best moment of the week:
She’s making her presence known. I actually felt a wollop big enough that I felt it on the outside of my belly too! Its been a rough week though---couple of barfy days, some good headaches and a lot of general achiness.
Food cravings:
Nothing new, but I’m kind of surprised that I can eat things during this pregnancy that made me sick when I was pregnant with Lucas. This go around I can tolerate ground beef, milk and orange juice, and fruit loops.
Food aversions:
Still can’t handle tomato sauces or really tomatoey dishes.
Symptoms:
Achiness in general, some headaches, nausea on occasion (yes I’m still barfing.)
Movement:
Quite a bit--mostly down low near my bladder, which makes it really fun when I’m driving and need to pee.
Gender:
Girl! (Note: this section not likely to change from here on out....unlike my weight, which will.) :)
What I’m looking forward to:
Is it too soon to say Summer Vacation? I’m looking forward to my next sono and appointment on March 31st.
What I’m nervous about:
Not much. Just want to not feel crappy.
What I miss:
I miss being able to breathe normally. I feel like I’m out of breath a lot of the time.
Next appointment:
March 31st for my 20 week checkup and another sono.
Comparison to Pregnancy #1:

Strong urge to purge and get rid of stuff. And by purge I don’t mean vomit. I mean to get rid of things that are superflous and  I already started on the kitchen and my closet and I’m finally in the right frame of mind to de-clutter!
