So many of you know that I'm a sucker for a good bargain--if I can save money on it then I'll print whatever coupon, search whatever store ads and drive to whatever store to score a good deal (especially on food.) I generally save a fair amount whenever I do my monthly grocery run simply because I take the time to create my menu, use what I have on hand, and pick up the things that I don't. I almost always buy things that are on sale, and if they are not then I try to find something else that will work, or I will use a coupon (or both!) Problem is, my oversized index card box is cumbersome, and the lid is about to fall off so a lot of the time my coupons get disorganized when I drop the dang thing.
I found this AWESOME system for organizing them that I wanted to share with you. It is called a Couponizer and it is super cool. It has pockets for different categories of coupons, a pocket for you to put all the coupons you are going to use, and a pocket to move them to once you've located that item (so that you don't forget to give them to the cashier.) There are also pockets for those "shopper cards" for various grocery stores, a pad for a grocery list, a pair of scissors for snipping the coupons out (if you are like me I'm always scrounging to find scissors that were not put back in the right place.) Its a neat system and will easily fit in my diaper bag (or purse, whatever you are using to lug your junk around in.) Just thought I'd share with you. I'm a Couponizer Coach as well, so I can order them for you should you decide you want to purchase one of these beauties for yourself!
